Japanese contemporary artist Jun Oson reinterprets iconic characters from "Stranger Things" through his distinctive illustrative style, expanded via FILTER017®’s mixed-element design vocabulary.
Inspired by the Hawkins basketball team jacket from the series, this piece integrates Jun Oson’s artwork and thematic graphics with meticulous craftsmanship and material innovation, reimagining the classic American varsity jacket within a retro sports culture context.
Crafted from wrinkle-resistant and warm wool blend body and premium tanned calf leather sleeves, it is complemented by custom-knit ribs for balanced color-blocking that harmonizes collegiate and athletic aesthetics. Graphics are rendered through patches and embroidery—including towel embroidery and chenille details—layered to create rich, dimensional visuals. The lining features skin-friendly micro-quilted diamond stitching for added comfort, making it an essential piece in today’s revival of vintage campus style.
